When you think about hackers breaking into your website, what images come to mind? In all likelihood, you picture masked criminals gaining access to your website to shut it down. Even though a human can see exactly what that product is, why it’s there and how important it is, a search engine cannot. Many growth hackers started out as developers. Google counts thousands of PhDs as employees. And while its algorithm over the years has been incredibly vulnerable to abuse by spammers, increasingly it’s taking into account the context in which a link appears.
